According to The Investor lead source from The Bell, the more likely Samsung will launch the flagship Galaxy S9 earlier than usual in January instead of march. 

This source said that Samsung Display will begin shipping the panels background OLED for S9 in November, earlier than 2 months compared to Galaxy S8. Ago Samsung Display began to shop the background plates for S8 in January and was formally introduced in march. According to the process typically, after Samsung Display factory the background plates, then the other parts will also be moved to place assembly to start manufacturing phones. This process usually takes from 2-3 months.

With the S8 premiere on 29/3 which is roughly 3 months from when the base plate is manufactured. If Samsung still hold the original production schedule, then S9 will most likely launch at the end of January and open for sale mid-February the following year.
